Brady and I will be at Great Hall Thursday around 5:30 or 6 to get Robotech back on the table after a month long break.

We are NOT using any mecha or weapons that have "Blast" capability as we want to play with all the other rules and mechanics before dealing with that sloppy mess again!

Right now we are looking at playing 300 points per side.

Mission Accomplished. The game plays great without Blast. Brady and I ended up with a fast moving and slashing battle that had both sides are closer to one another as opposed to trying to hide and dodge Blast templates.

We'll get a few more games on the table in the near future with some pretty simple house rule Blast rules we are going to try out.

1. Blast missiles are just like other missiles
2. No Scatter
3. Only the target takes the full Blast / weapon damage
4. Everyone else under the template takes auto damage based off their armor (armor 5 or less takes 2 damage; 6 or higher takes 1 point).

Brady and I will be at GHG this evening around 6pm playing Robotech with the house rules mentioned above. If anyone is interested in seeing how it goes, drop on in!

Brady and I got in some Father's Day mecha demolishing. I think it was about the 12th or 13th match Brady and I have squared off in. We're pretty settled and confident in the use of the house rules we have.

Now we have to get some of you other mecha drivers to show up!
