Played my first game of Osprey's Men Who Would Be King today over at Chez Smith. Overall I liked the rules and the mechanics are an improvement over the venerable Sword & Flame rules. Natives tend to get punished trying to out shoot a colonial force and colonials need to control the flow of the battle lest they get overrun by a native horde. Melee are quick and decisive unlike TSTF where if two full-strength units melee it becomes a tedious dice-off. I liked it enough to buy the rules.

Yeah, I am enjoying them, too.

There is an active FB page.

For some reason this forum section has html turned off and I can't figure out how to turn it on except by modifying individual posts.

I got my copy of "The Men Who Would Be Kings" today. Looking forward to playing again and using some of the unit options to vary the troop types a bit.
